David Pircher has been playing guitar for 40+ years and has studied with some of the best teachers / players in the world including Randy Rhoads, Ted Greene, Jimmy Wyble, Joe Diorio, William Kanengiser, John Schneiderman, Lenny Breau and Robert Vaught. 

After high school. David studied music at Pasadena City College and Musicians Institute, and in 1985 received a Bachelor of Music Degree from USC in Studio Guitar Performance. For the next 10 years he played in various original rock bands Savauge, Who Shot Sam and Kick in famous LA area  clubs like the Roxy, The Whiskey and The Coach House. In 1990 he focused his attention on classical guitar earning a Master's Degree in Classical guitar performance from Cal State University Northridge, playing solo guitar and in various ensembles. Mr. Pircher has taught guitar at Musonia School of Music for 20 years, training and introducing students in all musical genres applicable to the instrument.
